Bonn, the former capital of West Germany is a small city with around 300,000 inhabitants situated in the bank of Rhine river. It is not only famous for the headquarters of different international organizations but also for it's Cherry blossom streets. Cherry Blossom or Japanische Kirschblüte, a Japanese flower (Sakura in Japanese) blooms in the beginning of Spring. During this time Bonn city also organize a festival that is known as "Kirschblüten Fest". Cherry blossom can be in different colors and these streets are decorated by it's pinkish variety. One sunny Sunday I was at the fabulous Cherry blossom streets with my camera and tried to snap colorful city life . Hopefully, in next few minutes these snaps will take control of your mind and trigger you to visit the romantic streets of Bonn's historic old city center in next spring.

In mid of April, the cherry blossom trees are full of flowers and tourists from different parts of Germany visit the streets. Here you will find more about the streets http://www.kirschbluete-bonn.de

During this flowering season all streets turn to pink carpet with cherry blossom's petals.

And definitely it becomes one of the popular spots for making selfie.

Nevertheless, many amateur and professional photographers are also come here to shoot this scenic beauty.

During my trip, the spring wind was blowing quite heavily. So I was lucky to see the flower shower.

Beauty of the flowers changes from time to time. It seems that flowers like to smile more when the Sun smiles. But after the evening the beauty reaches at different dimension with artificial light, though I do not have any picture in evening.

It is easy to reach there by car or public transport. If you go by public transport, first travel to Bonn central station. From Bonn central station you can take Bus or Metro (Line 66) to Bonn Stadthaus. It is just 50 m from Bonn Stadthaus station.
